Training Classes
We offer dog training classes for both house manners and competition obedience.

Who We Are
The Cape Fear Dog Traing Club is the oldest dog training club in North Carolina. Our club began in 1952 and is a non-profit organization licenced by the American Kennel Club.
We support responsible dog ownership. Our goal is to create a public appreciation for the value of trained dogs.
Located in Fayetteville, NC, we offer obedience classes to the general public from instructors who have earned a variety of obedience titles on their dogs.

Community Service
Part of the CFDTC mission includes public education about training and competition dog sports. We subscribe to the theory that a trained dog is a happy dog. Besides offering classes, we perform obedience demonstrations for community groups, nursing homes, and schools. We advocate canine education by participating in career education days at local schools and conducting educational talks and demonstrations. We support our community services by providing pet oxygen masks for the Fayetteville City Fire Departments, purchase transport crates for the city K-9 department and purchase training items for County Sherriff's K-9 Department.
